Bindhyabasini temple is one of the three main Shakti Peetha located at Pokhara. This temple is situated on the Hocho hill located at Ward No.2 of the Pokhara Municipality. In the temple area, there are separate temples of Bindhyabasini as well as Shiva, Ganesh, Saraswati, and Krishna.
From the temple area, it can be seen Machhapuchre, Annapurna snow range as well as the Pokhara market. In this ancient temple, there is also a lift for the convenience of the elderly visitor. the lift was made by Lakshmi Group of Nepal. Bindhyabasini temple is also one of the major destinations of religious tourism. large numbers of Indian tourists are visiting the temple in Pokhara. The Barahi Temple is situated in the middle of the Phewa Lake in Pokhara. This historic temple is situated in the middle of the lake located at Baidam, Ward No. 6 of Pokhara Municipality. to go to worship in the temple people need to go by boat.
